Every year we see a series of beauty trends. Wether it’s a bold statement lip or dewy skin, we see the trend repeated on the runways, magazines or on the street. I’ve put together a series of hair and makeup looks from this year and my take on them. Below is a “how to” executed by my incredible hair and makeup team. Revlon makeup director Melanie Burnicle and Matrix ambassador Lores Giglio. The photography was taken by the insanely talented Carlo Fernandes.
The Super Natural
No mascara and a cross braid
How to :
Contour: Use a soft gentle contouring under the cheekbone and in the temporal hollows with Revlon Bronzer in Sun Glow
Eyes: Place the Bronzer on the upper lid from lash-line to the socket-line, then blend the edge up towards the brow. No harsh lines. This look is ethereal and soft. Using a soft small pointed brush place the bronzer onto the lower lash-line. Define the lash-line, go in and use the dark brown shade in the Revlon PhotoReady Primer, Shadow + Sparkle Palette Metropolitan to create depth around the eye line top and bottom making sure edges soften out to the other color.
Cheeks: For a highlight on the apples and cheekbones use Revlon Highlighting Palette in Rose Glow. Use small circular motions to make sure your application is soft and blended. This soft pinky cheek has been strutting down the 2016 fall runways. Add a small amount in the center of the top eyelid too.
Lips: Revlon ColorStay Moisture Stain in Cannes Crush
